To reach Certified, three or more people at your firm must hold one of these certifications:

Anthropic counts people, not certificates. Use a company email domain recognised on your organisation's partner record when registering. The credential belongs to the person. When a certified person changes organisations, ask Anthropic partner support to confirm the receiving firm's credit and any record changes needed.

How to reach Certified
- Confirm your firm is a member of the Claude Partner Network.
- Check that the company email domain is already linked to your partner record. If a domain must be added or linked, Anthropic says the record change takes 7 to 10 days.
- Choose three or more people for the Developer or Architect exams, based on the work they do.
- Prepare with the official exam guides and Timo's free practice exams: Claude Certified Developer practice exam, Claude Certified Architect practice exam, Claude Certified Architect Professional practice exam.
- Register and pay in Anthropic Partner Academy, then book with Pearson VUE.
- Check your certification total in the Partner Portal, which Anthropic updates weekly, and your standing in the Claude Partner Hub. A certification total is not necessarily the number of eligible people, because one person can hold more than one credential.
When does Anthropic promote firms to Certified?
From November 2026, Anthropic promotes firms to Certified and Select at least every month. Anthropic determines when the firm's promotion is confirmed.

Does the Claude Certified Associate count toward Certified?
No. Only the Developer and Architect certifications count.
Do we need customers in production to reach Certified?
No. Certified recognises three or more people with an Architect or Developer certification. Customers in production and a public customer story are Select requirements.
Does one person with two certifications count as two?
No. Certified counts people: three or more of your people must each hold an Architect or Developer certification.
How soon after we qualify will we be promoted to Certified?
From November 2026, Anthropic promotes firms to Certified at least every month.
