Get access if your employer is not a Claude partner
Anthropic opens certification to Claude Partner Network organisations. Timo is run by Amotion AI, a registered member of the Claude Partner Network. If your employer cannot give you a partner account, you can apply through Timo.
- Submit your profile. Apply to Timo and share your professional profile for review.
- Sign the agreement. If accepted, review the access conditions and sign the freelance consulting agreement with Amotion AI.
- Set up your account. Amotion AI gives you your own email address on its partner domain. You use it only for approved learning and certification services.
- Register for your exam. Register and pay Anthropic's exam fee in Partner Academy with that account and your legal name.

Where to take the Claude certification exam
You take the exam with Pearson VUE, Anthropic's exam partner: online with a remote proctor, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Use your full legal name exactly as it appears on the government-issued photo ID you will show at the exam. Cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your appointment.
How much Claude certification costs
Anthropic sets and collects the exam fee: US$99 for Associate Foundations, US$125 for Developer Foundations and Architect Foundations, and US$175 for Architect Professional. You pay the exam fee for each retake. Any eligible partner-tier discount also applies. Access through Timo is a separate membership; see the payment page for current details.

If you need to retake the exam
You can retake after 14 days, then 30 days, then 90 days, up to 4 attempts per exam in any 12 months. You pay the exam fee for each retake. Any eligible partner-tier discount also applies.

Discounts depend on your organisation's partner tier. Registered-tier partners pay the full exam price. Select, Preferred and Global Premier partners get 50% off, applied at checkout. Anthropic says its partner voucher storefront is still being developed. Check the amount shown before paying. Through 31 December 2026, Global Premier partners receive 100% off; after that, their standard 50% discount applies.
