How do I register for a Claude certification exam?

1. Get an email on a Claude Partner Network company's domain. Personal addresses do not work. If your employer is not a Claude partner, you can enroll as a consultant with Timo by Amotion AI, get certified as a Claude Certified Architect or Developer, and work on enterprise AI projects.
2. Sign in to Anthropic Partner Academy, choose your exam and pay Anthropic's exam fee.
3. Follow the Pearson VUE link to book an online or test-centre appointment.

To register for a Claude certification exam you need:

• a Claude Partner Network account: an email address on a recognised company domain of a member organisation (personal email addresses do not work)
• to be at least 18 years old
• a government-issued photo ID with the same name you register with

Why exam registration uses Partner Academy

The Claude Partner Network is Anthropic's program for organisations. Partner Academy is where people at those organisations register for certification exams. The certification belongs to the person who earns it.

Registration facts

Each fee has a different purpose. Anthropic's fee covers the official exam. Timo membership details are shown on the payment page. It does not include any official exam fee. Do not combine the values when comparing options. The candidate pays Anthropic's published fee when booking the selected exam.

Eligibility and track choice

Review the official certification information and the public guide for your selected track before booking. The four tracks serve different roles. A candidate may state UNDECIDED when requesting access and select a track inside the account. This allows time to compare the role descriptions and preparation material before an exam appointment is made.

CCAO-F is the foundations option for business and knowledge-work professionals. CCDV-F is for engineers building Claude applications and agents. CCAR-F fits architects designing their first production Claude systems. CCAR-P fits experienced architects delivering enterprise Claude systems.

How to sign up for Anthropic Partner Academy and register

1. Get your individual account. Ask your partner organisation for its account-setup instructions. If you enroll as a Timo consultant, follow the setup instructions provided after your enrollment and agreement are completed.
2. Check access. Sign in to Partner Academy using your partner company email. Personal email addresses do not work. If the company domain is not recognised, see the next section.
3. Register for your exam. Choose your certification, check your legal name and the fee shown, then register and pay in Partner Academy.
4. Book the appointment. Follow the Pearson VUE link sent after registration and choose an online or test centre appointment.
5. Check the confirmation. Confirm the exam, date, time zone and name on your appointment. Follow the ID instructions and, for an online exam, the system check.

You aren't signed in with a partner company employee email: what to do

First check that you signed in with your partner-company email rather than a personal address. If the error remains, contact partner-support@anthropic.com. The company email domain may not yet be recognised on your organisation's partner record. If a domain must be added or linked, Anthropic says the record change takes 7 to 10 days. Certifications earned on unrecognised subsidiary or regional domains do not credit to your organisation without correction.

No partner account?

If your employer is not a Claude partner, you can enroll as a consultant with Timo by Amotion AI, get certified as a Claude Certified Architect or Developer, and work on enterprise AI projects. Payment

Payment follows two separate routes. Timo membership price, access period and any eligible discount are shown on the payment page. If your profile is approved, we email the membership payment link. Review the service description, availability and consultant agreement before signing and paying. Provider exam fees are paid separately to the provider.

The official exam fee belongs to Anthropic. The candidate pays Anthropic's published fee when booking the exam. The four official exam amounts are shown in the facts table above. This distinction matters for records, questions and any change to an appointment. TimoLabs does not collect the official exam fee.

For a team request, use the same access form and provide the number of seats. The service team will confirm the request before any arrangement is agreed. Track choice may remain UNDECIDED until the candidate reviews the official material.

How to reschedule or cancel a Claude exam

You can cancel or reschedule through Pearson VUE at least 48 hours before your appointment without charge. Anthropic's policy allows a full refund for cancellation in that window, but cancelling the Pearson appointment does not issue a refund automatically. If you no longer plan to take the exam, email certifications-support@anthropic.com to request the refund. Late cancellation or a no-show forfeits the fee. Check your confirmation after any change.

Frequently asked questions

Are the official exam fee and TimoLabs service fee separate?

Yes. The official exam fee is paid to Anthropic. Standard fees before eligible partner discounts are CCAO-F USD 99, CCDV-F USD 125, CCAR-F USD 125 and CCAR-P USD 175. Timo membership price, access period and any eligible discount are shown on the payment page. The official exam fee remains a separate charge paid to Anthropic.

Can I choose a track after requesting access?

Yes. A candidate may state UNDECIDED and choose a track inside the account. Review the official guide and the four track pages before booking an exam.

Who issues the Claude certification?

Anthropic issues the credential after a passing result. Timo Platform membership includes Timo assessments, practical tests, badges and mock exams, Claude and OpenAI practitioner tracks, and profile and enterprise project features.

What happens if I need support or a cancellation?

Use the TimoLabs contact route for access and service support. Use the official booking route for exam appointment changes or cancellation terms. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, membership payments are non-refundable, including where a provider changes or withdraws access or credentials. This does not remove Amotion's obligation to deliver its own agreed services, subject to the availability and access period disclosed before payment. The consultant agreement and refund policy govern these terms.

Does the mock exam guarantee a passing result?

No. Anthropic sets the official assessment and decides the result. TimoLabs provides access and support, with no pass guarantee.
