Anthropic launched the Claude Partner Network on 12 March 2026 with an initial $100 million commitment for the year, covering training, technical support, sales support and customer deployments. The certification programme launched with it, and Anthropic's exam partner started delivering exams on 30 June 2026.
The reason that matters to an individual is simple. Partners are how Anthropic gets enterprise clients from a proof of concept into production, and partners staff that work with certified people. Demand for the credential follows the delivery work.
What the credential shows
A current Claude certification shows that the candidate passed Anthropic's exam for a defined track. The four tracks distinguish business use, application development, first production architectures and experienced enterprise architecture.

Anthropic publishes free official material for each track, and there is plenty of good free content elsewhere. Read that first. Pay for the exam once you have a concrete reason to hold the credential.
