Your three routes are to ask your employer to join the Partner Network, wait for public registration, or apply through an existing partner. Anthropic’s certification FAQ specifies the partner-account requirement; no date for general personal-email registration has been announced.

Why you need a partner account
Anthropic launched the Claude Certification Program on 12 March 2026 alongside the Claude Partner Network, and committed an initial $100 million to that network for 2026. Anthropic's exam partner began delivering the exams on 30 June 2026.
The registration account must use an email address issued by a Claude Partner Network member. A partner employer can arrange this for you. If you apply through Timo and are accepted, Amotion AI issues an address for your individual use.
A personal email or an address from a non-partner employer does not satisfy the provider’s registration requirement. An Anthropic customer account alone does not establish Claude Partner Network membership.
Route one: get your employer into the Partner Network
This route can suit companies that sell, build or deliver Claude work commercially. First check whether your company is already a member. If it is not, ask the person responsible for the vendor relationship whether the company can apply.
The timing depends on Anthropic’s review and your employer’s internal decisions. Confirm membership and account availability before planning an exam appointment. Any exam discount or voucher must be confirmed separately.
Route two: wait for public registration
Anthropic has not announced a date for opening general personal-email registration. You can study while waiting, but do not plan an exam booking around an assumed opening date.

Route three: apply through Timo for partner access
Timo is run by Amotion AI, which is Certified in the Claude Partner Network. You can apply through Timo if your employer cannot provide the required partner account.

Amotion AI gives you your own email address on its recognised partner domain. You use that address to sign in to the learning and certification services Timo approves. Amotion manages the account. It is not shared with other applicants or intended for ordinary work email, and receiving it does not make you an Amotion employee.
Timo helps you set up the account and follow the registration steps. You prepare with the official material for your track, then book and pay the official exam fee through Anthropic’s certification process. Anthropic decides eligibility, appointment availability and credential awards.

How to get Partner Academy access without a partner employer
Anthropic Partner Academy is where you sign up, register and pay for a Claude certification exam. It accepts only an email on a Claude Partner Network company’s domain. If your employer is not a Claude partner, you can enroll as a consultant with Timo by Amotion AI, get certified as a Claude Certified Architect or Developer, and work on enterprise AI projects. Enrolled consultants sign up for Partner Academy with their Amotion AI consultant email.

Can I use a personal email for Claude certification?
No. Partner Academy does not accept personal Gmail, Outlook or iCloud addresses, or an address on a company domain outside the Claude Partner Network. The exam itself does not change
Whichever route you take, the exam is identical. Four tracks, all 120 minutes, all needing a scaled score of 720 out of 1,000, all valid for 12 months, subject to Anthropic's terms and any suspension or revocation.

Retakes follow Anthropic's schedule: 14 days after a first failure, 30 after a second, 90 after a third, with a maximum of four attempts per exam in a rolling 12 months. A retake costs the exam fee again.
Once you pass, the credential stays valid for 12 months, subject to Anthropic's terms and any suspension or revocation. Renewing on time costs nothing under Anthropic's renewal terms.
